Das PinchukArtCentre gibt die Online-Bewerbung für den 7. Future Generation Art Prize frei
The prize is a biannual opportunity for contemporary artists under the age of 35 to receive long-term support. In addition, the award winners will have unique exhibition opportunities, both at the PinchukArtCentre in Kiev and at the Venice Biennale. After nominating a shortlist of 20 candidates, the jury will award the main prize of 100,000 USD and a further 20,000 USD to up to five other winners. The renowned jury features big names such as Damien Hirst, Richard Armstrong, Elton John and Miuccia Prada.
The PinchukArtCentre was founded in 2006 by businessman Victor Pinchuk and is one of the largest private contemporary art centres in Europe. The aim of the centre and exhibition venue is to give a broad public access to new ideas and perspectives and to empower a future generation of artists. The PinchukArtCentre takes a critical stance on national identity and international challenges and involves the public in its discourse.
